Our Electrical Safety Awareness Course will ensure that your people use electrical equipment & systems, safely and efficiently in the workplace.

Our course considers the effects of circuit overload, earth-fault, short-circuit & arc-fault conditions. Understanding basic electrical circuit theory can help us prevent potential risks when using electrical equipment in the workplace.

Who should take this course?

Our course has been designed as an introduction to electrical safety and is suitable for people with little or no previous experience, whose work activities involve the use of electrical equipment or close-contact with electrical installations.

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this training course, your people will understand;

– Their duties when working on, or near live electrical equipment

– Electrical hazards, potential risks, and effective control measures

– Why user checks are essential before using electrical equipment

– Why the care, use and maintenance of batteries is essential for safety

Assessment & Certification

Your people will be assessed via an online multiple-choice test, which can be completed on a mobile device such as a smart phone.

A Certificate of Training will be sent to the course organiser on successful completion of the final assessment.
